She is seductive, mysterious, incomprehensible. It is all about temptation. Seducing you with her magnetism. She covers her face with a veil to hide her real feelings. She can observe without ‘unveiling’ her intentions.
The veil and eye-rim are made of chemical etched, hard stainless steel. The rim is screwed to the veil, allowing the optician to mount it with prescription lenses. The lens is held by the tension of the material. The lenses are fit in the rim in the way one would fit lenses in a nylon frame.
Every Caline comes in a set of three pieces - an electro polished version, a black satin and a gold satin version – presented in a special box. This collector’s item (3 times 75 numbered boxes) is for sale at the by Theo selected opticians.

Exclusive, striking and functional are the words that describe Flandria, the new collector’s item from the Belgian brand theo. Only 60 sets of a black, golden and fluorescent pink pair of glasses are available. Flandria is inspired by the helmet worn during cycling races. Or how an extremely functional item can become a fashion accessory.

Just 60 sets of three pairs of spectacles (one black, one golden and one fluorescent pink) were produced. Finished is finished. Moreover, each Flandria is numbered and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by designer Patrick Hoet and theo’s big boss, Wim Somers. This is to guarantee the exclusiveness of the collector’s item for the purchaser.
